Pokémon Trainers from all over the world come to the Four Isles, seeking glory, fame, and riches. They travel, each one believing they will be the next Champion of the Isles, their heads full of lofty ideals and cocksure grace, never once thinking they might return home disappointed. If they go home at all.

The Four Isles is a treacherous waste, where one wrong step could spell the end of a trainer, their Pokémon, or both with the casual ease as a storm tossing a feather about. Here is where trainers, believing themselves skillful or lucky, are brutalized and beaten down until they break, and that does not even begin describing the hardship and suffering they will face before the end of the season.

Why Here?

You might be wondering why you’re here, or what purpose there is in coming to these islands, so isolated from the rest of the world. Magnic Tower is its own attraction, of course, but the tournaments held there only occur once every few years, and it cannot be blamed for the crowded beaches or the rampant influx of ‘nature walkers.’ The simplest truth is the Four Isles is a beautiful place, lush and fertile, with plenty of wonders to see on each isle, and a bustling night life in the famed Helix Nightclub.

Runaways and renegades often find their way to these islands to spend a year laying low away from public scrutiny. A few miscreants sometimes make trouble, but the Isle’s own law enforcement, F.I.L.E. make quick work of common ne’er-do-wells. You can be sure of a safe, if somewhat brief, vacation here on the Isles.

Standardized Rules

  1. The number of Pokémon any trainer can start with is two (2). They can be of any strength or type except dragon, and they must both be at least one or more stages below their final evolution, if they can evolve.
  2. Catching Pokémon is not enough to add them to your team roster. You must win the PKMN’s allegiance if you wish for them to become a steady and reliable member of your team, though how this is done is fully up to you, whether you want to win their trust or abuse them into obedience.
  3. To add a third or more PKMN to your team roster, you must have a means of more than just basic income, either by skills gained from your background or during the journey, or through income. It costs money to maintain a Pokémon's health, and food and medicine are not free.
